Roaring Fork Valley Rental Assistance Program

Temporary rental assistance for residents of participating resident-owned communities

The Roaring Fork Valley Rental Assistance Program provides temporary financial assistance to eligible residents of participating resident-owned communities who are experiencing lot rent increases following the transition to resident ownership.

Resident ownership helps preserve long-term affordability and community control. However, the initial rent adjustments needed to support the financial health of the cooperative can create short-term hardship for some households. This program is designed to help offset a portion of those rent increases and support residents as their communities stabilize after purchase.

Applications are currently expected to open on June 1st, 2026. Application timing may change depending on available funding.
